Collaboration framework signed to develop the Nordic life science ecosystem!
We are delighted to share an important partnership milestone reached in Norway. AstraZeneca BioVentureHub signed a Memorandum of Understanding together with Oslo Cancer Cluster (OCC) and Oslo Science City (OSC). This is the first step in establishing a wider collaboration framework to further develop the Nordic life science ecosystem. The overarching aim is to enhance the Nordic region’s competitiveness, stimulate innovation, and create opportunities for SMEs and academic groups in both Sweden and Norway.
This agreement provides selected Norwegian start-ups, access to innovation expertise residing in AZ BioVentureHub in Gothenburg. It also provides the opportunity for Swedish companies to stay at and form collaborations in cancer and precision medicine with the outstanding research groups at the Oslo Cancer Cluster and the University of Oslo.
This is the start and the outcome of cross boarder and functional AZ collaboration as well as between two of the Nordic ecosystems.
The agreement was signed 19 Desember 2023.
