Robert joined AstraZeneca BioVentureHub in 2022, has spent more than 35 years in communications and entrepreneurial industry. In various roles, companies and positions the main focus is always change, growth and progress with communication as the business tool. With experience from many industries, Robert adds an outside perspectives when contributing to the team and in ecosystem strategies and projects.

Joined the AZ BioVentureHub team in May 2024 after 20 years in various roles focusing on science and project management in preclinical research at AZ. Bringing that experience with him Robert focus is on identifying the right companies to join the BioVentureHub to create value through collaboration and scientific exchange between AstraZeneca and the BioVentureHub companies.

25+ years experience from AstraZeneca within the Logistics and Facilities Management area. Joined the BioVentureHub in 2015, focusing on facilities, services, lease agreements and other questions from a landlord perspective.

Erik joined the BioVentureHub in September 2025 for a one-year secondment. He has a background in medicinal chemistry with expertise in drug discovery and laboratory automation. Combining his scientific background with use of databases and AI tools, Erik´s task is to build and operate a cutting-edge scouting platform, identifying and evaluating new candidates for the hub.

Magnus has 25+ years experience from the pharma industry, both from an R&D and Business Development perspective. Magnus has been with the BioVentureHub since its inception and is responsible for overall strategy and holds the role as CEO of AZ BioVentureHub AB. He is an Senior Advisor to RISE (Reseach Institute of Sweden) and holds a board seat in UN Global Compact Sweden. Magnus is an Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital.

Anders is overseeing the ecosystem strategy for AstraZeneca R&D in Gothenburg, Sweden. He has more than 25 years’ experience of global drug development across all phases of the value-chain through both drug project leadership, senior functional leadership roles as well as leading large transformation initiatives. A red-thread through Anders career has been to constantly challenge the status quo and seek opportunities for business improvements, always with a focus on the greater good.

Erica has worked at AstraZeneca in various roles and on numerous projects since 2003. She joined the BioVentureHub team in 2016. Her daily work includes financial coordination, project management, team planning, onboarding new BioVentureHub companies and providing operational support to existing companies.
